Figure and Ground

Figure and ground interact within cinematic moments that functions as film stills, alluding to a larger narrative ultimately unresolved in the following frames. These unfinished stories are questions of photography’s ability to document: are these real? are they staged? and what about the unfocused space that obscures our view? These places and these stories could be anywhere, with anyone.
